The Magiska War

Consumed by indignation that the gift of magic had been given to the humans, the dark elves and their allies sought out those that would unlock this gift for them. Marching to Midgard, the realm of mankind, they devoured anything in their path. Six tribes chosen by the gods opposed them though. These six tribes came from all around the world and their close ties with magic also made them the keys to getting at the well of magic locked away in the islands of Bohemia.

One hundred years the sides of dark and light would clash. This war was not just detrimental to the islands and its population, all over the world humans were either swayed into joining the darkness or wiped out. The lucky portion of the worlds populace went about their lives oblivious to the bloody war tumbling across their doorsteps. In the end, the tribes of light rejuvenated the magic that had been given to them and the dark forces were either driven from Midgard, or cursed and became something locked between the triumph of the light and the darkness that had persuaded them.
