Town Origins

Bohemia, New York is a town built on an alluring cluster of islands in Lake Ontario. The islands' draw stems from the 100 year war most alive today have never heard about, the Magiska War. The town's beginnings though are far more simple. The land was ripe and perfect for farming and hunting after the war. It also had the most fertile, pure magical energy source flowing through it. When the Silverweb family founded the small town, their main goal was to hide and protect the islands true gifts from a world built to misunderstand it.

   Throughout history that is exactly what they did, the once legendary Norse warriors, learned to redirect their prowess in battle to the protection of magic and the veil. When threats came knocking, the Silverwebs and five other families stood against it, whatever it was. Through wars threatening to use the island and darker beings bent to using the flow of power for malicious purpose, the six historic families would hold steady and bring about a new type of town bubbling with creative possibility.
